the way the wasp is curled around the bloom, it is hard to parse the image at a glance, but a bit of inspection shows the quality of the nature shot

@Harry: As a biologist, the thing I like about this shot is how easy it is to see why the insect gets it's common name "feather-legged." This was taken with a telephoto lens, not a marco lens making the detail all the more remarkable (you can even see what look like pollen grains on one of the legs).
